MILO
Aloha Woods is proud to offer the rich beauty of Milo wood. Known in Hawai‘i as one of the most treasured native hardwoods, Milo is admired for its deep reddish-brown tones, often accented with golden or purplish hues and a fine, swirling grain. Historically used in Hawaiian woodworking for bowls, canoes, and ceremonial items, Milo carries with it a sense of tradition, craftsmanship, and natural elegance.
Its smooth texture, natural luster, and ease of finishing make Milo an exceptional choice for fine furniture, turning projects, inlays, and decorative pieces. Each piece of Milo tells a story, bringing warmth, character, and cultural depth to any creation.
